Change! What color are thou?
Been away for a long time. Been going through a lot of shifts in my life... so much that my creativity and writing, in particular, has been impacted. I intend to release some new poetry/prose shortly, but in the meanwhile, I thought I'd share an article on change my Dad published in The Nation Online, A Nigerian publication.
Change! What color are thou?

The
word Change is power packed; needs no qualifier for its impact or
import to be felt. It is a word of emotion and distinctiveness. Hue? One
is not certain though at times Change will come at you as sly and
deceitful. Flip the coin and Change is on either side – negative or
positive all is Change. It is a word you can’t find napping. However, it
is pertinent to note that not every change action is neither desirable
nor connotes improvement on what had existed.
